Regulation 31 and 32
During the February 2010 meeting the Arkansas State Medical Board voted to adopt as presented Regulation 31 governing Physician Delegation of Medical Tasks and Regulation 32 governing Ethical Violations. A copy of each regulation may be obtained from our website under Forms and Publications.
Licensing Requirement Change
The Arkansas State Medical Board reviewed the comparison of Arkansas and surrounding states on the time limit for completing the USMLE licensing examination sequence at the December 2009 Board Meeting. The Board voted to change the number of attempts for each Step of the USMLE from six attempts per Step to three attempts per Step.
This is effective immediately.
