The Arkansas State Medical Board and CentralizedCredentials Verification Service (CCVS) will be hosting a workshop to provideassistance to anyone recruiting physicians for Arkansas, needing clarificationor review on the new process changes for initial licensure; how the CCVSfunctions and one-on-one help with utilizing the ASMB/CCVS system. Thisworkshop will provide insight into how the licensure, regulatory and CCVSdepartments function together.  The feefor this workshop is $75 for the day, with lunch and materials provided.  The workshop is scheduled for Friday,September 23, 2016.  Registration opensonline on August 23, 2016. Called Conference Call Meeting
The Arkansas State Medical Board will conduct a called Conference Call Meeting from the Board office Friday, July 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.

Free Detailed License Verifications and Board Orders
At the June 2016 meeting the Board voted that requests for Detailed License Verifications and/or Board Orders will no longer require the $15.00 fee.  As of July 8, 2016 all Requestors should go to the License Search tab on the Board's website to obtain the information.  The Requestor should request a Detailed License Verification for the desired practitioner and if Board Orders are applicable, a button will be available to submit a request for the Board Orders.  This fee change does NOT involve Certifications.

The Arkansas State Medical Board's CVO, Centralized Credentials Verification Service (CCVS), received official notification on September 10, 2015 of their recent achievement of recertification under the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) in the following eight of eight requested credentials elements:
